This series of resources has been developed in consultation with six Young Barbican researchers, and with input from the broader Young Barbican community.
Creative Careers is open to all Young Barbican members and students at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Explore how creatives adapted during Covid-19, celebrate impressive works, and envision the future. Hear from Stephanie McLaren-Neckles, Swarzy Macaly, Hayel Watenburg, and DJ Amadness. Stay engaged and connected to the creative world.
Being Real Online
Young Barbican artists, Karimah Hassan and James Kite, led a project on 'being real online' with fellow collaborators. The project emphasized the value of kindness and collaboration in remote creation, a lesson to carry into the future.

Proper Leaders
Our third session features impactful voices from the cultural landscape. Shannie Mears, Keturah Cummings, and Ellie Pennick, game-changing young leaders, share their reflections on the past, present, and future. Join us for inspiring insights!

2021 Energy
In this Creative Careers session, we highlight Justice for Black Lives, an organization fighting racism and inequality. Amplifying their voices, we aim to inspire genuine debate and reflection among aspiring creatives.
